Mr. Hirose, who has often been thrown into so-called "flame projects" where problems occur, realized that the cause of the flare-ups was "communication discrepancies" and reaffirmed the importance of facilitation and project management. Apparently he did. What is facilitation/PM? Hirose: I have summarized my definition of facilitation and project management in the slide above. Facilitation and project management both involve verbal communication. Facilitation becomes a conversation through words, and project management becomes a text or document through words.
Things to be careful about when facilitating There are two things to keep in mind when facilitating: Point 1. Be convinced Persuasion is the act of trying to get the other person to understand your point of view. Convincing means getting your ideas into the other person's mind Phone Number List and moving them voluntarily. Just by changing the way you speak, you can change your persuasion into convincing. Slow down your speaking speed when answering customer questions or approaching the closing of a case. Listen to the other person's questions and figure out what they really want to ask Point 2. Combine questions and empathy/impressions into one set.
MTG or hearings, but don't keep asking questions just because you're thinking about the progress of production. A series of questions can sometimes sound like interrogation. By combining questions with empathy and impressions, you can better understand the other person and make the other person feel like they are listening to you. For example, when making a design proposal, instead of asking, ``Which do you think is better, Plan A or Plan B?'', ``Why Plan A?'', or ``What do you like about Plan A?'', instead of asking, ``I think that color is good,'' etc.
